Hi! I’m Bas, 21 years old and living in the beautiful Noordwijk. I am currently in my third year of Business Administration at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. In addition to my studies, I work at Alexander Beach Club, and sports play a significant role in my life – you can often find me on the soccer field or at the gym. In my youth, I sailed at a high level, which led to many international adventures and valuable experiences!
How did you get into IT?
As part of my Business Administration studies, I am currently interning at QUBE. I was looking for an environment that challenges me, and I found that in the dynamic world of ICT. After all, ICT is an essential part of modern business and will continue to be in the future. Although my knowledge of IT is still limited, this internship offers me the perfect opportunity to grow in this area and gain valuable skills in a professional environment.
Why did you choose QUBE?
The choice for QUBE was made quickly. In consultation with my father, it became possible for me to intern at QUBE. A significant reason for choosing QUBE was my participation in the ski trip, where I got to know my colleagues in a different setting. This gave me a good impression of the atmosphere and the team at QUBE – a group where I felt at home and where I can learn a lot.
