In march, Shewina started as a corporate recruiter at QUBE. Time to get to know her better.
Hi Shewina. Welcome! Tell us something about yourself
I'm Shewina, and I live in a cozy residential area in Rotterdam, near the Kralingse Bos. Especially in the summer, I enjoy taking walks there.
How did you end up in IT?
During my studies in Human Resource Management, I did an internship at an IT company and enjoyed it so much that I joined them immediately after graduating. Even after more than six years, I still find IT companies fascinating.
Why did you choose to work for QUBE?
QUBE has been a reliable partner for its customers for 33 years. That really appealed to me. Also, the atmosphere in the office and the involvement of enthusiastic colleagues spoke to me.
Your role is corporate recruiter, what will you be doing exactly?
In my role as corporate recruiter, I'm responsible for structuring recruitment processes. By attracting new colleagues who fit in with QUBE, I aim to contribute to its growth plans.
What do you enjoy outside of work? In other words, what makes you happy?
In my free time, I enjoy being in nature, but I also love benching a good Netflix series. I cherish the company of friends and family, sharing meals or drinks together. Additionally, I'm passionate about traveling. Hopefully, I can take a trip within Europe or to South America this year.
