Hi, I'm Melvin, Amsterdam based, who lives just outside of city center, close to Vondelpark and Sloterpark. I'm best described as a passionate sports enthusiast who enjoys outdoor activities, possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, loves listening to sports and business podcasts, and was once affectionately described a 'skippy ball' by a reporter.
How did you end up in IT?
After studying Business Economics and Marketing, I started my career in key account management and B2B marketing. For several years, I worked as a marketing manager at an IT/SaaS company in Rotterdam. Even now, a few years later, the rapidly changing IT world still feels familiar to me.
Why did you choose QUBE?
For 33 years, QUBE has been a reliable partner for its clients. Albert put it perfectly by saying that over the years he has created a second home for entrepreneurial people. QUBE is an enthusiastic group of ICT professionals where people really make a difference by focusing on personal service and customer experience. For me, choosing QUBE was a Smart Move!
Your position is Marketing Manager, what will you be doing exactly?
As Marketing Manager, I am responsible for marketing and communicating the three pillars of QUBE (ICT Infrastructure, Software- & Security solutions). I aim to contribute by developing compelling content, lead generation, and by closely collaborating with sales.
What do you enjoy outside of work? In other words, what makes you happy?
In my free time, you'll find me on the padel court weekly, I enjoy wakeboarding when the weather is nice, and I combine my passion for food with traveling. Hopefully, I can take a trip to Italy, Asia, or California this year.
