In october, Fabian started as a sales consultant at QUBE. Time to get to know him better.
Hi Fabian. Welcome! Tell us a bit about yourself...
I'm Fabian. After living in Assendelft my whole life, I moved in March to the charming and lively village of Krommenie with my girlfriend Julia, our cat Truusje, and our dog Guusje!
How did you end up in IT?
My fascination with technology started at a young age. I began tinkering with my laptop early on—sometimes successfully, and other times not so much, but every experience taught me valuable lessons. This passion for technology and my curiosity about how things work eventually motivated me to pursue an IT degree and earn relevant certifications. I've continued to grow in my field and am always looking to develop further.
Why did you choose QUBE?
My first impression of QUBE was immediately positive—and as we know, that first impression is often crucial! As I learned more about the company and the opportunities they offer, it became clear that this is the ideal place for me to continue developing my skills.
Your role is Network Consultant; what exactly will you be doing?
At QUBE, I'll be starting as an IT Service Desk Technician, helping clients resolve a wide range of IT issues and challenges. I’m really looking forward to diving into this role and expanding my IT knowledge further!
What do you like to do outside of work? In other words, what makes you happy?
Outside of work, I'm always busy with music! I’ve been playing guitar for 4–5 years now, both at home and on stage with my band. I also enjoy spending weekends with friends and family—it gives me the perfect balance alongside my work.
